The community is invited to be part of the listening sessions and hear from the school-based leadership teams as they share their improvement efforts and focus for the year.

The school reports for the 2020-2021 school year will focus on: safety and operations; instruction; supporting students; equity and excellence; and other highlights specific to the school.

The District has an annual tradition of inviting each school to present a "Host School Report" to the Board. In years past, the board meeting was held in the "host" school. Due to the pandemic, the Board will remain at the High School for all of the reports this year, Sandy Saltzstein, the Whitefish Bay School Board President, explained.

" The reports offer an opportunity for the Board to learn more about each school environment, as well as providing time for the administrators and staff members to share items of interest from their buildings. The reports are usually led by the building principal, and have in past years included other team members and sometimes students,"Saltzstein told Patch.
