WHITEFISH BAY, WI—Wednesday evening the School Board for Whitefish Bay discussed the trends related to the pandemic in the community and how to move forward with classroom teaching.
The School Board for the School District of WFB moved to return to blended learning modality with continuing with RTVL options to Begin December 14.
At a special meeting on November 13, 2020, the School Board voted to transition to temporary virtual learning for all schools based upon worsening COVID-19 trends, the recent instances of instability in the blended model, and the Board’s review of current data and metrics.
The School Board accepted a proposal to shift to temporary virtual learning beginning November 23, 2020 through January 8, 2021, with a data review and check-in at the Regular Board Meeting on December 9 to determine if shifting back to blended learning earlier is possible.

The Motion was made by Pam Woodard, and it was second by Kristin Bencik.Kristin Bencik, W Brett Christiansen, Pam Woodard, Anne Kearney, Lynn Raines, Nathan Christenson each voted for the Motion, which carried.
