WHITEFISH BAY, WI — With seasonably warm weather over the weekend, and more on its way early this week, Whitefish Bay officials are wary of too many people congregating in public meeting spaces — even though they're open to the public.

"We understand that it is a lovely day and people want to be outside. Please understand that physical separation is the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Congregating in parks does not allow for proper social distancing," officials said in a bulletin posted over the weekend. "Parks are open to allow people to move through (running and walking). During this time the parks should not be used as a place to go with your family or friends and spend time together or play games. "
