WHITEFISH BAY: Your Guide to 4th of July Fireworks, Parade

Here is your guide to Whitefish Bay Independence Day fun, including the parade, fireworks and Klode Park festival!

WHITEFISH BAY - Whitefish Bay celebrates Independence Day on July 4 this year. Here is your guide to all of the local events in your area:

11:30am : Parade

The 41st annual Whitefish Bay 4th of July Parade route begins on Kent & Silver Spring, east to Lake Drive, north to Klode Park. The parade route is 1 mile long, and the festival at Klode Park begins immediately after the parade.

The Parade features over 60 entries and lasts a little over an hour. Featured entrants include a the Milwaukee Drum & Bugle Corps, the UW Marching Band, McMenamin Irish Dancers, Scottish Pipe Band, the Wacky Wheeler, the CYO Emerald Knights Band, the Red Hot Dixie Band, the Nicolet Band, Sen. Darling, Rep. Ott, Congresswoman Moore, & Sheriff Clark.

9:30pm - Klode Park


KLODE PARK FESTIVAL:

  • 1pm - Flag Raising
  • 1-8pm - Food Vendors: Pandls, Saz's, Event Carnival Food, Civic Foundation Soda/Beer Tent, Roman Candle Pizza, Best Kettle Corn, Farm Fesh Food Bowls. NEW 2016: MINI DONUTS!
  • 1-4pm - Klode Park Games: Games include a face painting tent, mini-bowling, a fishing game, bean bag toss, a lollipop pull game, an octopus ring toss game and more.

The tennis courts will be converted to a sports area with a basketball game, a football throwing game and a miniature golf course.

  • 7:00-Fireworks - Something To Do
