WHITEFISH BAY, WI – July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Whitefish Bay.

Village officials announced in early May that this year's parade, fireworks and festival at Klode Park have been canceled for 2020.

"While we all hope better, healthier and safer times await us on July 4, the public health situation brought on by COVID-19 means we will be very unlikely to safely host such a mass gathering," Whitefish Bay officials said.
