Whitefish School Board Reviews Sports Plans, Changes Possible
The School Board wants to review the winter athletics and activities season to determine if changes to those plans should be made.
WHITEFISH BAY, WI— The Whitefish Bay School Board has called a special meeting for Wednesday to decide how to proceed with winter sports.
Jeff Worzella, WFBHS Activities Director, is scheduled to provide an update and background on the upcoming winter athletics and activities plans, according to the agenda.
Based upon discussions at previous meetings, there was a desire by the Board to review the winter athletics and activities season to determine if changes or modifications to those plans should be made. This discussion comes on the heels of a shift to temporary virtual learning and increases in community coronavirus cases.

The Board may chose to take action to limit, postpone, or cancel some or all winter athletics or activities.
That special meeting is set to follow the Buildings and Grounds Committee Meeting.
