The Scottsdale Quarter location is offering guests the chance to eat safely and privately in a 'desert dome.'

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — An innovative dining experience in Scottsdale is giving the phrase 'coronavirus bubble' a whole new meaning.

The Scottsdale Quarter location of Culinary Dropout is offering guests the chance to safely dine outdoors in a 'desert dome.' The partially enclosed, translucent domes can seat parties of two to six for a unique outdoor dining experience.

“We are thrilled to partner with Culinary Dropout to bring this new and innovative dining experience to our guests at Scottsdale Quarter,” Richard Hunt, the general manager of Scottsdale Quarter, said in a statement. “This is a truly unique and memorable way to enjoy a delicious meal in the privacy of your very own ‘bubble’.”

The domes opened on Jan. 29 and will be available until the spring, according to a news release. Located just outside of the restaurant, the domes will have access to Culinary Dropout's full menu, as well as yard games.

Each dome is heated for winter in the desert and features desert-chic décor and ambient lighting.
