- A Scottsdale couple built a memorial library in Israel. The library is meant to memorialize the life of Mim and Dr. Mel Bottner's daughter who passed away in 2014. "Lauren's Library" includes more than 600 books for both children and adults. The couple built a similar library in Scottsdale's Ahavas Torah synagogue. (Jewish News of Greater Phoenix)
- The City of Scottsdale provides a storm response update following last Friday's monsoon incident. The city reports that Cactus Park remains closed but the aquatic center is reopened. There are no major road restrictions currently but drivers are reminded to not cross or drive around barriers. Power has also been restored to most Arizona Public Service customers. (City Sun Times)
- The Primary Election results have officially been certified by Maricopa County leaders. More than 866,000 voters in the county cast a ballot during the election. 35 percent of registered voters participated in the primary - more than the average 24 percent. County Recorder Stephen Richer called the election a resounding success based on usual metrics. (AZ Family)
