New Jersey-Based Playa Bowls Opens Scottsdale Storefront
New Jersey's Playa Bowls is bringing its acai superfruit bowls to north Scottsdale, with a storefront opening Saturday. Here's what to know.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — New Jersey-based superfruit bowl shop, Playa Bowls, is opening its first Arizona location in Scottsdale Saturday.
The location, which is located on north 90th Street, will open its doors at 11 a.m., with free T-shirts and acai bowls for the first 50 customers, the company said.
The north Scottsdale storefront is Playa Bowl's 116th location nationally, six years after the brand was launched by surfers Abby Taylor and Rob Giuliani on the boardwalk of Belmar, N.J.

The company offers a variety of bowls, with bases ranging from pure acai berry to pitaya fruit, bananas and more, and a variety of other flavors.
