Here are the top three stories in Scottsdale today:
- AR Concepts plans to open a chicken sandwich-coffee shop hybrid in Old Town Scottsdale over Labor Day weekend. AR Concepts is the owner and operator of Mesquite Fresh Street Mex in Old Town Scottsdale. Its new concept will be called Chickadees Chicken and Fries and Grindhouse Coffee Bar. It will be located at the corner of Buckboard Trail and Indian Plaza. (ABC15 Arizona in Phoenix)
- A new master-planned Scottsdale community is offering pre-sales. The 37-lot Rosewood Highlands neighborhood is located near McDowell Sonoran Preserve. The community offers six different exterior styles. Click to learn more about the neighborhood. (Arizona Foothills Magazine)
- Thousands of Maricopa County residents lost power on Friday morning due to a storm. Utility poles were reportedly knocked down due to the strong winds that impacted the valley. Almost 10,000 customers had no electricity in the early morning hours but power was quickly restored. About 1.22 inches of rain fell during the storm. (KTAR)
