The small-batch craft chocolate maker has won worldwide acclaim, including the 2017 International Chocolate Awards, speaking to the shop's ability to make top-notch confections from scratch.
"Rare is the chocolatier that attempts to do absolutely everything completely from scratch; hobbyists gone pro Maureen and Jim Elitzak take pride in doing all of the work themselves, from sorting ethically-sourced single-origin beans to wrapping the often award-winning bars for sale," Food & Wine's David Landsel writes. "Their not-to-be-missed (even if you're a major skeptic) white chocolate is made with just three ingredients—house-pressed cocoa butter, whole milk, and organic cane sugar."
