Students at Camelback Desert School Celebrate Earth Day

Students celebrated Earth Day with various art and planting projects at their school

Students at Camelback Desert School in Scottsdale celebrated Earth Day on April 22 with a variety of planting, recycling and art projects that focused on celebrating Earth and taking care of the planet. Students planted flowers around their schoolyard and created Earth-inspired art with recycled objects.

Leading up to Earth Day, students learned about the important role of plants, flowers and trees in creating oxygen and providing food, and how pollen spreads to help plants grow. Camelback Desert School teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at young age.
