  1. Scottsdale's Love Them All Rescue will begin training shelter dogs. The new effort is meant to ensure that the shelter's dogs get adopted. The rescue has hired a trainer, Ricardo Paredes. The training will hopefully teach the dogs to become more comfortable with new surroundings, impulse control, and behavior. (Fox 10 Phoenix)
  2. The Scottsdale Airpark has been chosen as the site for a proposed new multi-use development by architectural firm Nelsen Partners. The 32- acre site, located at 16001 N. Scottsdale Road, will feature a 223-room hotel, 1,236 condos, and expansive retail space. There will also be a two-acre park. The project will cost an estimated $1 billion. (East Valley Tribune)
  3. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office has rescued about 100 dogs from an Arizona homeless camp. The dogs were surrendered to the department by an individual after the camp was destroyed by monsoon weather. The dogs were reportedly well-fed. The dogs are available for adoption. (Fox 4 News)
