1 Killed In West Tucson Shooting

Cedric Anthony Peete, 41, was killed in a shooting near Starr Pass Boulevard and Greasewood Road Thursday, Tucson police said.

TUCSON, AZ — A 41-year-old man was killed in a shooting that occurred outside a home on Tucson's west side Thursday, Tucson police said.

Cedric Anthony Peete was killed in the shooting, which occurred around 7 a.m. near Starr Pass Boulevard and Greasewood Road, according to police.

There are no suspects at this time, but police believe the shooting was not a random act, police said.
