Artist reception at Wilde Meyer Gallery, 2890 E. Skyline Drive, Ste. 170, Tucson — A celebration with artists, food and fun from 5 to 7 p.m. Acoustic harpist Vanessa Myers performs during the reception.
Alan Parsons Live Project, Fox Tucson Theatre, 17 W. Congress St., Tucson — The Alan Parsons Project band was born in 1975, part of Britain’s soft rock and progressive musical movement. They will regale their Valentine’s Day audience with laid-back tunes in a multimedia performance starting at 8 p.m. $35 to $100.

Hearts on Fire Valentine's Country Duets Tribute, Exo Roast Co., 403 N. 6th Ave., Tucson — Buddy Woodward and Mamma Coal play musical duets by legendary artists such as June and Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Conway Twitty and others from 8 to 10 p.m. $10.

“The Book of Mormon," University of Arizona Centennial Hall, 1020 E. Magic & Mystery Dinner Theater’s “Murder at the Magic Show,” Skyline Country Club, 5200 E. St. Andrews Dr., Tucson — Attend an award-winning comedic murder mystery in three acts while dining on a three-course dinner at a candlelit table. Dancing and a champagne toast are other highlights. Astro Amore — Valentine’s Stargazing in Mount Lemmon, Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter, 9800 E.
