TUCSON, AZ — With the Tucson school year wrapping up and the summer season approaching, it's a perfect time to get the kids' swimming skills up to par. To help keep everyone safe, the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department is working with the American Red Cross to offer swimming lessons at a discounted rate.

The Parks and Recreation Discount Program offers a 50% discount for selected programs and 25% discount on selected passes for qualified, low-income City residents.

All of the cities pools are participating in these swimming lessons. This year, Parks and Recreation is making registration easier online and changing the process to get rid of the lines.
