Bountiful Baskets
Get a great variety of produce at a great price and no waiting in line for more than a few minutes!
Bountiful Baskets is open for contributions now until 10pm Tuesday for Saturday morning pick up!! This is what we got last week!!! Here is the link: https://contributions1.bountifulbaskets.org/
There are 3 locations in the Tucson area- Windmill Park in Marana, Reid Park in Tucson and at Safari Park in Sahuarita.
There are other programs out there, but usually there is a substantial amount of time waiting in line for only a couple types of produce that is not the best quality. Bountiful Baskets offers 5-6 different types of fruits and 5-6 different types of veggies! And the most you may have to wait is a few minutes, and if you make your contribution, you will get your produce! But you must reserve your basket before 10pm on Tuesday!

This is a grass roots, all volunteer, no contracts, no catches opportunity to pool funds with people who live close to you and secure volume discounts from retailers, allowing you savings you couldn't have working alone! Pick up is easy, just pull into the parking lot and our great group of volunteers (wearing face masks and gloves) will load your produce into your vehicle. Easy peasy!
The site has a 20 minute pickup window, from 7:00-7:20am.
Items Not Picked Up during the 20-minute Pick Up Window Will Be Donated and Unavailable to you.
Please know that the produce received by Bountiful Baskets are packed at their origin point and are not handled by unknown numbers of people. The individuals that pack the produce, the trucking company/drivers that transport the produce (typically wrapped in cellophane to keep them from falling over in the truck) and then our site volunteers... (I am one of them! :)
