The project list was developed over the last 18 months based on community input and a comprehensive analysis of transportation needs in the city. To date, over 5,000 Tucsonans have participated in the Move Tucson planning effort.
The Move Tucson project list includes more than 230 projects ranging from major corridor and high-capacity transit projects down to smaller-scale neighborhood connections. The total estimated cost of the project list is over $5.7 billion.

While the funding is not available to build the full $5.7 billion project list over the 20-plus-year Move Tucson time horizon, the plan will provide the roadmap for how the city invests in its transportation system. The focus of the Move Tucson project list is to make the transportation system safer, provide more transportation choices, and preserve the city’s existing infrastructure.
You can participate and learn more about Move Tucson by attending one of our virtual town hall events.
