Coronavirus: Tucson Schools Deliver Meals To Kids

Children in the Tucson area can get free meals at any of these 113 bus stops in the district.

TUCSON, AZ — The Tucson Unified School District started handing out Grab-and-Go meals to children 18 and under on Monday. Officials are giving out meals amid school closures during the new coronavirus outbreak.

Buses are traveling the normal 12 bus routes, stopping at 113 locations throughout the district Monday through Friday. Routes are going from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., stopping at each stop for 10 minutes. Times may vary depending on weather.

One breakfast and one lunch will be given to children, but they must be present to receive a meal.

There are no requirements. Any kids can get meals; there are no requirements.
