County To Offer Summer Youth Program At Community Centers In July

Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation (NRPR) will offer a summer youth program at several of its community centers July 6 - 29

PIMA COUNTY, June 17, 2021 – Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation (NRPR) will offer a summer youth program at several of its community centers next month, from July 6 to July 29.

The program will be offered at Catalina Community Center, Drexel Heights Community Center, Ellie Towne Flowing Wells Community Center, Littletown Community Center, and Robles Ranch Community Center, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Online registration for this program opens Wednesday, June 23, at 6 a.m.; to register, visit https://apm.activecommunities.com/nrpr.

In addition, Arivaca Community Center will offer a half-day youth program Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Registration for this program is in-person only, and opens Wednesday, June 23, at 9 a.m. The center is located at 36120 S. Mesquite Road in Arivaca, AZ.
The senior meals curbside pickup program will also continue for registered participants at Picture Rocks Community Center. The public access computer lab and small library are available by appointment.

Activities for teens and seniors that are currently offered on Fridays at various locations will continue. Room rentals and other uses will be permitted on a case-by-case basis.
