Excessive Heat Warning Extended For Tucson Area: NWS
The National Weather Service has extended an excessive heat warning, starting now on Saturday through Tuesday for the Tucson area.
TUCSON, AZ — Tucson's first brush with 110 degree temperatures is expected to arrive on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
Southern Arizona, like much of the Grand Canyon State, is expected to bake over the course of the coming week, with highs between 109 and 113 expected.
Those high temperatures spurred the National Weather Service to issue an excessive heat warning for much of Pima County.
