Expect Slowdowns On These Tucson Roads Soon
Pima County is ramping up road repair work soon on three Tucson roads. Those wanting to avoid delays might want to reroute their commutes.
TUCSON, AZ — Tucson area motorists wanting to get to their destinations quickly might want to avoid the following roads, where repair work including milling, repaving and striping is scheduled to start soon:
- Ina Road from La Cholla Blvd. to Shama Wing: 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 9 through Wednesday, Feb. 12.
- Mona Lisa Road from Orange Grove Road to Magee Road: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13 through Monday, Feb. 17.
- Chula Vista Road from 1st Avenue to the road’s end: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17
Drivers should expect minor delays, reduced speed and lane restrictions in these areas. Pima County officials ask motorists to obey traffic signals and use caution approaching these areas.
This schedule might change depending on weather or mechanical failures.
