Flash Flood Warning Issued In Tucson
The flash flood warning will be in effect for southern Arizona, including the Tucson metro area, until Sunday night.

TUCSON, AZ — Tucsonans should expect plenty of rain Saturday as flash floods are expected through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
National Weather Service meteorologists are forecasting thunderstorms and heavy rainfall across much of southeastern Arizona, which could lead to flash flooding. This may result in swiftly flowing washes.
The warning said flooding is expected starting Saturday afternoon and the warning will be in place until late Saturday night. Most of southern Arizona will likely be affected, including the Catalina and Rincon Mountains, parts of Pinal County, the Tucson metro area and more.

Areas affected by the Bighorn Fire should be especially vigilant Saturday and prepare for flooding and debris.
The National Weather Service recommends that everyone in the area keep up to date on the issue from local authorities and continue to monitor the weather forecast. It is expected to be abusy weekend for Arizona monsoons.
