Man Killed In Midtown Tucson Rollover Crash

Joseph Ray Eisensee, 45, was killed in a crash near the intersection of Mountain Avenue and Fort Lowell Road Saturday, Tucson police said.

TUCSON, AZ — A 45-year-old man died in a rollover crash Saturday night near the intersection of Mountain Avenue and Fort Lowell Road, Tucson police said.

Joseph Ray Eisensee was killed in the crash, which occurred around 11 p.m., when his Mitsubishi SUV struck trees and other objects in the median and flipped on its side, according to police.

No one else was injured in the accident, which witnesses said happened after Eisensee tried to pass multiple vehicles in the center passing lane of southbound Mountain Avenue, police said.

Eisensee was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was partially ejected from the SUV, according to police.
