The Office of Administrative Hearings is available to Members of HOAs as a place to resolve HOA disputes. Members like this due to the low cost of filing. If they have a simple issue it’s intended to be a more relaxed alternative. The Rules of Evidence used by courts do not apply in administrative hearings.

As you would expect, you, representing yourself are required to swear under oath that you will tell the Truth. Later the Judge will tell you that the attorney is not held to the same standard, only his witnesses. SWEET!
