TUCSON, AZ — Mother's Day this year falls on Sunday, May 9 — a day annually set aside to celebrate mamas, including stepmoms, foster moms, grandmothers and even aunties, who shape our lives and love us like no other.

Restaurants and chefs across Tucson are readying feasts — for on-site dining or takeout — to make it a memorable day. And whether the moms in your life prefer egg and quiche brunches, steak, lobster, BBQ, pasta dishes, Latin-inspired fare or sweet treats, Patch has you covered.

Casino Del Sol: Each of the casino's three restaurants will have deals in place on Sunday. Bellissimo Ristorante is offering a three-course meal featuring simple salad, home-made spaghetti with meat sauce and petite tiramisu for $20. Ume is offering a seafood Thai green curry, with jumbo shrimp, crab and baby scallops for $18. PY Steakhouse is offering a slow roasted prime ribeye steak for $36, complete with butter whipped potatoes, seasonal vegetables, au jus and creamy horseradish.

Charro Steak & Charro Del Ray: Both Charro Steak and Charro Del Ray are offering all-day happy hour margaritas, while kids 10 and under eat free on Sunday.

Charrovida: Charro's Mediterranean restaurant is offering half-off mimosas all day, while kids 10 and under eat free all day on Sunday.

El Charro Cafe: All of El Charro Cafe's locations are offering a Dia de Las Madres brunch menu, while kids 10 and under eat free on Sunday.

Barrio Charro: Offering a "M is for Moms" deal, with half-off MotoSonora Beer, in addition to micheladas and mange nadas.

Pub 1922: Offering two-for-one happy hour margaritas all day on Sunday.

Cracker Barrel: A new "homestyle favorites" menu rolls out just in time for Mother's Day, so treat Ma to such limited-time specials as Hand-Breaded Fried Chicken Tenders, Sweet n' Smoky Glazed Tenders, "Barrel Bites": sweet Biscuit Beignets and Loaded Hashbrown Casserole Tots. Or opt for "Mother's Day Family Meal Basket Special" — an All-Day Pancake Breakfast Family Meal Basket or Sunday Homestyle Chicken Family Meal Basket. Gift-card deals are offered, too. Locations.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit: Just in time for Mother's Day for BBQ-lovin' mamas, the chain is launching its new summer menu with Sweet King's Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sandwich with Dr Pepper Barbecue Sauce and Texas Sweet Corn. Or keep meal prep easy with to-go family and picnic packs. Locations.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse: Treat Mom to a three-course menu featuring filet mignon and choice of lobster scampi or crab-stuffed shrimp. Starting at $80 per guest and offered May 8-9 beginning at 11 a.m. Locations.

Hooters: In honor of Mother's Day — for one day only, Sunday, May 9 — diners can enjoy 10 free Boneless Wings with the purchase of any 10 wings at participating restaurants. Check to see if your nearest locale is hosting the offer. Locations.

Olive Garden: Family Bundles, which serve four to six or up to 12, offer selections including spaghetti, lasagna, chicken or shrimp scampi, plus options for breadsticks, salad or soup. Order in advance for curbside pickup. Some locales open for dine-in. Locations.

PF Chang’s: Celebrate Mom with a pre fixe four-course menu ($50) that includes a glass of wine. Selections include: Chang's Lettuce Wraps; Dynamite Shrimp; soup; Miso Glazed Salmon; Mongolian Beef; Peking Duck; and desserts of cheesecake or The Great Wall of Chocolate. Bundle to-go meals also offered, as well as gift card deals. Locations.

Red Lobster: Family takeout menus start at $7.99 per person, or take advantage of a gift card deal running through the end of June: For every $50 spent on gift cards purchased in restaurant or online, guests receive a coupon for $10 off orders of $30 or more during July and August. Among new menu adds: Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich; Crispy Cod Sandwich (Codzilla); Wagyu Bacon Cheeseburger; and Baja Shrimp and Sesame-Soy Salmon bowls. Locations.
