Motorcyclist Killed In 4th Of July Kolb Road Crash

TUCSON, AZ — A 57-year-old man was killed in a crash at the intersection of Kolb Road and Kenyon Drive on Tucson's east side on the 4th of July, Tucson police said.

Derek Bruce Post was struck as he rode his motorcycle by a Toyota Tundra pickup truck and died at the scene, according to police.

The pickup driver stayed on the scene of the crash and was not impaired at the time of the collision, and was not charged in connection with the crash, police said.

Police said that Post's Harley Davidson motorcycle was struck as it traveled south on Kolb Road, when the pickup truck was making a left-turn from Kolb Road onto Kenyon Drive.
