Republican Brandon Martin Wins AZ-2 Ballot Count

Republican Brandon Martin submitted 3,370 signatures for the Republican U.S. House seat in AZ CD-2, the most of any candidate

SIERRA VISTA, AZ - Republican Brandon Martin submitted 3,370 signatures to run on the Republican ticket for the U.S. House of Representatives in Arizona's Second Congressional District, the most of any Republican running for nomination in AZ-2 and 989 more than Democrat incumbent Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick. Mr. Martin issued the following statement in response:

"We've won Round 1 and we're going to win Round 2 and 3. We turned in 989 more signatures than our Democrat opponent Rep. Kirkpatrick and 1,999 more than the threshold needed to get on the ballot.

"From Sierra Vista to Sauhaurita, Tuscon to Tombstone, St. David to Douglas, Green Valley to Vail and everywhere in between we are building a grassroots campaign to win AZ-2 and take back the House. The people of Southern Arizona deserve active and accountable leadership. I'd like to thank all of the freedom loving Patriots who are supporting our campaign - and for those I haven't met yet, I hope to earn your vote."
