Road Repair Work Through Friday On Old Nogales Highway
The work will consist of setting traffic control, lowering utilities, milling and repaving and temporary striping.

Beginning Wednesday, June 16 through Friday June 18, between 6 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Granite Construction, Inc., will be performing road repair work on Old Nogales Highway.

The work will consist of setting traffic control, lowering utilities, milling and repaving and temporary striping.
- Wednesday, June 16: One-day closure: Old Nogales Highway from Nogales Highway to Old Vail Connection will be temporarily closed as crews pave up to the Union Pacific Railroad crossing. Motorists will be detoured to Lumber Street.
- Wednesday, June 16 through Friday, June 18: milling and repaving Old Nogales Highway from Nogales Highway, south to the Tucson city limits.
- Temporary striping is scheduled to be completed on or around, June 18.
Flaggers and Pima County Sheriff's Deputies will be on site to direct, monitor and control traffic movements through the construction zone. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work.
