Scottsdale Traffic Restrictions Nov. 15 - 24

The AZ Department of Transportation has begun a project to widen and improve Loop 101 from Interstate 17, Phoenix to Pima Road, Scottsdale.

Loop 101 improvement project

The Arizona Department of Transportation has begun a project to widen and improve Loop 101 from Interstate 17 in Phoenix to Pima Road in Scottsdale.   • Loop 101 will be reduced to two lanes in each direction from 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18.
  • Left turns will be restricted to one lane in both directions on Scottsdale Road at Loop 101 through November.
  • The westbound Loop 101 frontage road between Hayden and Scottsdale roads will be closed from 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, through November. Detour on Loop 101.
  • Traffic in both directions on the Loop 101 between Scottsdale and Hayden roads will is shifted around a work zone in the freeway median while a new bridge is built over the future Miller Road extension. The traffic shift will be in place for approximately one year. There will be no reduction in travel lanes during the shift.

Northbound Hayden Road restricted through November

Northbound Hayden Road will be reduced to one lane from McKellips Road to McDowell Road through November for gas line and other utility work. Additional smaller restrictions will also occur in the area. Expect delays and use alternate route if possible.

Southbound Scottsdale Road restricted through Nov. 22

Southbound Scottsdale Road will be reduced to one lane from McDonald Drive to Chaparral Road through Nov. 22 while a sewer line is repaired and a water line is replaced.
