Southwest Airlines has launched its annual fall sale. You have until Thursday to capitalize.

TUCSON, AZ — Southwest Airlines has launched its yearly fall sale and you know what that means: cheap fares out of Tucson. The sale kicked off Tuesday and will run for three days. Fares start as low as $49 in many cities and can go up to $129 the further you travel.
Here’s where you can go out of Tucson International Airport and how much it’ll cost you to get there:
- Las Vegas, NV: $49
- Los Angeles, CA: $49
- San Diego, CA: $49
Some of the $49 fares include Atlanta to Cleveland, Washington, D.C. to Boston and Chicago to Pittsburgh.

Flights are also not available on Friday or Sunday and the sale is limited to non-stop trips, which could throw a wrench in any weekend getaway plans.
The fares are not refundable, but can go toward future travel on Southwest, so long as you cancel your reservation “at least ten minutes” prior to departure.

The sale comes a day after Southwest announced that it expects to see a 3 percent drop this quarter for per-mile revenue. Southwest has seen fewer bookings since a deadly April 17 incident, in which a jet engine caught fire and sent a piece of shrapnel through a window. The plane’s cabin depressurized and a woman was partially sucked out of the plane. She died from her injuries.
