Multiple Victims In Catalina Shooting: Sheriff's Department

TUCSON, AZ — There are multiple victims after a shooting in the Catalina area of north Pima County, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

There is no longer any threat to the public related to the shooting, the department said.

The shooting, near the intersection of Coronado Sunset Drive and Coronado View, occurred on Friday morning, according to the department.

In an update on Friday afternoon, the department said there were "several victims at this time," with more information coming after identification concludes, the department said.

No details about the victim's condition have been released and people are advised to avoid the area.
