Traffic Alert: Roadwork Scheduled June 30 In Pima County
Repairs to Shannon Road from Lambert Lane to Cactus Canyon Place will take place this Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

PIMA COUNTY, AZ — If you travel in the area of Shannon Road in Pima County often, you may want to take a different route or give yourself a little more time to get to your destination in the next few days.
On Wednesday, June 30, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving & Construction Co., will begin repairs to Shannon Road from Lambert Lane to Cactus Canyon Place, county officials said.
The work is scheduled to be completed in one day and will involve setting traffic control, lowering utilities, milling and repaving and temporary striping. Thermo striping is scheduled for the week of July 19.

Drivers are asked to approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. They can also expect reduced speed, lane restrictions and a pilot vehicle assisting motorists through the work zone. Minor delays may occur during this work.
The repairs are part of the Pima County Board of Supervisors and Transportation Department's allocated $56 million for the Road Repair and Preservation Program.
