Tucson Company Says City Wrongly Included It On Divestment List
Tucson-based West Point Contractors wants the city to remove them from a list of companies the city won't do business with.

TUCSON, AZ – West Point Contractors says that Tucson has it all wrong and they want it fixed. The company says that the city needs to remove them from a list of companies they won't do business with.
West Point says that the problem has to do with city policy to not do business with or invest in companies that are associated with President's Trump's border wall.
The company sent a three-page letter to the city saying that while they are building a wall, it's actually a fence project and it was approved by the federal government while Barack Obama was president.

“For the record, West Point decided against submitting proposals for the prototype walls requested under President Trump’s Administration," West Point VP John Alley writes in the letter, according to the Arizona Daily Star, which first reported on the situation.
The paper says that Alley writes that the city never reached out to the company before compiling the list and that they are happy to provide Tucson with whatever information that they need.
