TUCSON, AZ — The Tucson Rodeo is well underway, and the finale this weekend is sure to make for some great entertainment. The parade commenced Thursday morning, with the rodeo finishing off on Sunday.
Patch has compiled some need-to-know information about the Tucson Rodeo for anybody who wants to attend, from parking and safety information, to bag policies and a schedule.

Parking at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds is $7.
The rodeo has a clear bag policy. Backpacks, purses, camera bags, binocular cases, mesh bags, totes, and other bags are prohibited. See approved and banned bags and public safety policies.

Alcohol will be sold at the event, with a limit of two drinks per transaction. Those who wish to purchase alcohol mush show a valid wristband.
Animals are prohibited from the event except for certified service animals.
Photography for personal use is allowed, provided that it does not interfere with others seeing the rodeo.
Here's the remaining schedule, obtained from the Tucson Rodeo website. All events are at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds, 4823 S. 6th Ave., unless otherwise noted:
Thursday, Feb. 20
Tucson Rodeo Parade: 9 a.m.
- Over 200 non-motorized floats are on display along the one and one-half mile parade route beginning at Park Avenue and Ajo Way, proceeding south on Park to Irvington Road. Tickets for Grandstand seating at Irvington and South 6th Avenue
- $10 for adults, $5 for kids under 13

Tucson Rodeo, Third Performance
- 11 a.m.: gates open
- Noon: Coors Barn opens - enjoy live feed of the Tucson Rodeo*
- 12:30 p.m.: RAM Mutton Bustin’ and Justin Junior Rodeo
- 2 t 4:30 p.m.: ProRodeo Competition
- 4 to 8 p.m.: Coors Barn Dance - $5 online or at the door; 21 years and older only.
- *Access with purchase of a rodeo ticket plus $5 per person; includes admission to after-rodeo Coors Barn Dance.
Friday, Feb. 21
Tucson Rodeo, Fourth Performance
- 11 a.m.: gates open
- Noon: Coors Barn opens - enjoy live feed of the Tucson Rodeo*
- 12:30 p.m.: RAM Mutton Bustin’ and Justin Junior Rodeo
- 2 to 4:30 p.m.: ProRodeo Competition
- 4 to 8 p.m.: Coors Barn Dance - $5 online or at the door; 21 years and older only.

Saturday, Feb. 22
