TUCSON, AZ — We all know that unfortunate feeling. It’s Christmas morning, relatives are coming over and you’ve spent days preparing and making lists for your family feast, only to realize you forgot to buy the cranberry sauce or the whipped cream to top the pie. Or maybe you need to buy that last-minute gift card for Aunt Mildred, who you didn't find out was coming to Christmas dinner until late last night.

To help solve such predicaments, here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open on Christmas Day 2019 in Tucson, along with a list of those that won’t.

Open Christmas Day:

Safeway was the Lone Ranger Tucson grocery store with Christmas Day hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at some locations, but other Tucson Safeway locations will be closed that day. So check with your store before you head out.

Closed Christmas Day:

Target
Whole Foods: All Tucson locations are closed, though some stores might have modified hours in other cities, their website said.
