Trail Improvements To Begin At Parks Springs Park In City Of Bentonville

Bentonville, AR?Bentonville Parks & Recreation is announcing anticipated work within the footprint of Park Springs Park. Progressive Trail Design (PTD), a contractor of NWA Trailblazers, will be conducting general maintenance to the trails which includes: realignment in key places, trail reclamation as needed, and overall grooming to the trail tread. PTD also plans to add a new, 5? wide trail comprised of a dirt and decomposed granite mix. Black Apple Trail will be perfect for beginners.

All of the changes and improvements will result in periodic trail closures. Please respect and acknowledge all signage, fencing, caution tape, and barriers indicating trail closures as this will signify that work is underway in a particular area and nearby trails may be unsafe or pose hazards until completed. The initial staging of equipment will begin immediately with construction to follow quickly. Final completion is expected by mid-November. As always, PTD will work as swiftly and safely as conditions allow.

Park Springs Park is located at 300 NW 10th Street, within walking distance of the Bentonville Square. Throughout the enhancement project, every reasonable effort will be made to naturalize and revegetate the grounds impacted by the new tread/trail work.
