Tuesday, Oct. 1
Between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 600-blk of Barry Pl. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the front passenger window. Loss: black Paul Mitchell leather bag, black Sony digital camera, black/white “Nightmare before Christmas” wallet.
2:25 a.m. – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 2900-blk of Emerson Wy. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the driver’s side window. Possible suspect described as a male, White or Hispanic, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt. Loss: none.
Between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. – A vehicle burglary occurred in the 100-blk of E. Woodbury Rd. Suspect(s) entered the vehicle by shattering the driver’s side window. Loss: black iPhone 4S.
Between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. – A residential burglary occurred in the 400-blk of W. Altadena Dr. Suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the rear kitchen glass door. Loss: silver/gray Mac 17’, (3) checkbooks.
3:55 p.m. – A commercial burglary occurred at Rite Aid, 735 E. Altadena Dr. Suspects described as #1 female, Black, 21-25 yrs, 506, 200, black hair, brown eyes, red sweater, blue jeans, black shoes and #2 female, Black, 21-25yrs, 506, 150, blonde hair, brown eyes, orange shirt, pink pants w/flowers, gray shoes. Suspects last seen driving black Chevrolet sedan. Loss: cosmetics, toiletries.
Wednesday, Oct. 2
Between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. – A package theft occurred in the 400-blk of E. Poppyfields St. Package was stolen from the front porch. Loss: computer mouse, 3D-input.
Between 5 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. (Thursday) – A petty theft occurred in the 1000-blk of E. Morada Pl. Loss: $800.00.
Thursday, Oct. 3
7 a.m. - Computer equipment stolen from a Southern California school was traced to a residence in the 300 block of Calaveras Street in Altadena. Altadena Station detectives executed a search warrant at the residence and recovered some of the stolen computer equipment. Suspect Freddie Spears (male/43 years old) was arrested for possessing stolen property and was booked at Crescenta Valley Station with a $20,000 bail (Booking #3731-171).
4:40 p.m. – A petty theft occurred at Rite Aid, 735 E. Altadena Dr. Suspect Jeffery Ortiz, 28 yrs, of Altadena was arrested.
11:11 p.m. – A residential vandalism occurred in the 1800-blk of Layton St. Suspect(s) threw eggs at the residence causing damage to the air conditioner.
Friday, Oct. 4
Between 1:05 pm. and 2:05 p.m. – A petty theft occurred in the 2100-blk of E. Washington Bl. Loss: $300.00.
Between 4:10 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. – A residential burglary occurred in the 2300-blk of Oliveros St. Suspect(s) entered the residence via the unsecured window. Loss: purple Dell Inspiron 17.5” laptop.
