Gourmet Grill Masters joins the market Wednesday and has been praised by Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic Jonathan Gold.

If you’ve been hankering for cluckingly good chicken in Altadena, you’re in luck on Wednesdays since celebrated Gourmet Grill Masters joins the Altadena Farmers’ Market this week, the market announced on their facebook page.

Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic Jonathan Gold explained in a 2008 LA Weekly article what sets Grill Masters apart from the plethora of chicken joints in LA:

"… extravagantly seasoned fowl cooked on rotating spits, perfumed with smoke, slow-roasted and glistening with juice, basted in its own fat plus probably a dozen other things, soft enough to eat with a spoon."
