Please Note the Updated Safety Protocols for Entry into the Altadena Libraries (Updated June 23, 2021)

Before entering the Altadena Libraries, please follow these guidelines:

1. Stay home if you are sick with a cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, or chills or if you are currently under quarantine or isolation.
2. Masks are required if you are NOT fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
3. Be considerate and keep your distance (about 2 arms lengths) from others.
4. Clean your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer after contact with frequently touched surfaces.

The Altadena Library District is pleased to continue with its phased reopening, following public health guidelines allowing libraries to open with limited capacity. The Bob Lucas Memorial Library and the entirety of the Main Library will be open for limited hours to help meet needs for computer access and bring back the joy of browsing!

As of the week of May 17, 2021, the following service hours are in effect:

Main Library

Open Hours
(Browsing, computer use, holds pickup, printing)
Tuesday – Saturday: 12:00pm – 5:00pm
Sunday & Monday: Closed

Outdoor Seating & Power Access
Monday – Saturday: 9:00am – 5:30pm

Open Hours
(Browsing, computer use, holds pickup, printing, copying, faxing, scanning)
Monday – Friday: 12:00 – 5:00pm
Weekends: Closed

Outdoor Seating & Power Access
Monday – Friday: 10:00am – 5:00pm

Curbside pickup at the Main Library is on-demand only between the hours of 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Call (626) 798-0833 to specially request a curbside appointment. Pickup will take place at the foot of the stairs by the parking lot entrance.
