The Altadena Town Council is seeking applicants to fill the vacant seat in Census Tract 4612.
Former councilman Bill Ward resigned earlier this month when he announced his plans to move out of state.
Applicants must reside within CT 4612 and must have lived in Altadena for at least two years.

CT 4612 is within the boundaries of Lake Avenue and Altadena Drive and between Mendocino Street /Glen Canyon Road and New York Drive.
Prospective applicants can pick up applications and candidate eligibility information at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Drive and online at http://altadenatowncouncil.org.

The deadline to turn in applications to the Altadena Community Center is 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8. There will be a $35 application fee.
All eligible candidates will be presented to the council at regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, Nov. 19.
The council will vote to fill the vacancy by appointment.
