Friends of the Altadena Library To Hold Homelessness Discussion
The discussion will involve representatives from Union Station Homeless Services.
ALTADENA, CA — Friends of the Altadena Library will hold a special discussion with Union Station Homeless Services during its annual meeting Saturday.
Union Station Homeless Services CEO Anne Miskey and Senior Director Shawn Morrisey will discuss homelessness in Los Angeles County and the impact the “challenges and changes of the past year” has had on the unhoused community, according to a statement from the library.
The meeting will be held Saturday at noon via Zoom. In addition to the discussion, the meeting will also involve the election of new officers for Friends of the Altadena Library and a presentation of the group’s annual donation to the Altadena Library District.
