Have You Seen Him? Diabetic Teen Missing From Altadena Group Home

Daniel DeHughes, a 16-year-old black male is missing from an Altadena group home. He's described as 6 feet tall and 160 lbs.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY -- Sheriff's deputies are searching for a diabetic 16-year-old boy last seen walking away from a group home in Altadena.

Daniel Dehughes is insulin-dependent, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He's described as black, 6-feet tall, 160 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

He was last seen walking away from a group home in the 2900 block of El Nido Drive at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, officials said. He has run away in the past and may be in the Pasadena-Altadena area, they said.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to dial 911 or to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Missing Persons Unit's Sgt. Mike Rodriguez, Detective Abraham or Detective Pereida at (323) 890-5500.
