More Funds Needed to Purchase Millard Canyon
The Arroyo & Foothills Conservancy is urging individuals to help raise remaining funds by the Nov. 30 deadline.
While hundreds of thousands of dollars has been raised to help the Arroyo & Foothills Conservancy purchase and preserve , the Arroyo & Foothills Conservancy announced it was $16,060 shy of its goal as of last Wednesday.
To purchase and preserve 13 acres in Millard Canyon above Hahamongna Watershed Park, the conservancy needs $675,000. The area was described in a biological survey done by the conservancy as a prime wildlife corridor and a good habitat for amphibian and other species.
The $658, 640 raised as of last week came from the following sources:

Individuals: $58,740
Individuals are being urged to donate before the Nov. 30 deadline.
