Possible Bobcat Encounter at Cobb Estate
A woman claims her dog chased a bobcat up a tree and the bobcat growled and hissed Friday morning.
A woman told Patch that she happened upon a bobcat Friday morning while walking with her dog at the Cobb Estate.
“My dog smelled/saw it first and gave chase,” Stephanie Clayton told Patch via email. “He treed it, then the animal ran down the first tree, and up into another. I tried to get a pic but the bobcat was growling and hissing and I thought it better to just leave.”
The Altadena Sheriff’s Station told Patch they had not received reports of bobcats or any other wildlife Friday since 6 a.m.
