Toddler Ejected In 210 Freeway Crash, Shutting Eastbound Lanes
Two other children and two women were also hurt in the two-car crash that shut down the eastbound side of the freeway.
SYLMAR, CA — A 3-year-old boy was critically injured and two other children and two adults were also hurt in a two-vehicle crash on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Sylmar. The crash closed the eastbound Foothill freeway lanes and the transition road to the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway.
The toddler was hurt when he was ejected from the vehicle, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. A 6-year-old girl, 12-year-old boy and two women, 42 and 27, were also injured in the crash, and their conditions range from serious to fair, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department. All patients were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The crash happened at about 2:10 p.m.
