Walmart Opens Temporary Hiring Center in Altadena
Walmart is hiring about 65 associates to work at the new Walmart Neighborhood Market planned to open in Altadena early next year.

Two days after Walmart held a hiring event in Altadena for their opened a temporary hiring center on Monday at 2369 Lincoln Ave. in Altadena to facilitate applications.
The store will be hiring both full- and part-time associates to work in all areas of the store, including supervisory positions, according to store manager Jennifer Gonzales in a statement.
“We are excited to bring additional jobs with career opportunities to the area,” said Gonzales, who started working at Walmart in 1998 as a temporary associate in Palmdale and was promoted to assistant manager in Lancaster and continued to be promoted in management.

Most associates will start work in early 2013 to prepare the Walmart Neighborhood Market for its grand opening.
The Hiring Center will accept applications Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. or those interested can also apply online at http://careers.walmart.com.
