Arcadia Firefighters Battle Blaze In Abandoned Building

A fire on Live Oak Avenue sent a plume of smoke into the afternoon sky, Tuesday.

ARCADIA, CA - Firefighters responded to the scene of an abandoned building fire Tuesday afternoon. The blaze, on the 4200 Block of E. Live Oak, began at approximately 4:15 p.m.

Los Angeles County Fire officials said they were making "good progress"on the single story fire.

Smoke billowed from the back of the building when they arrived, but no one was found inside the structure, officials said.
