Arcadia's Ammar Moussa Wins One More Title

Arcadia track and field legend capped his prep career with one more trophy last Saturday during the 2011 U.S. Track and Field Junior National Championships held at the University of Oregon.

Moussa won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14 minutes, 9.61 seconds. Moussa was the lone runner in the top 10 who was not affiliated with a college program.

On June 17, Moussa won the 2-mile race at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, N.C., with a time of 8:51.80.

Moussa will attend the University of Colorado in the fall.
