Dance Against Cancer at Arcadia Zumbathon This Weekend

An 8-hour Zumba fitness party is being held concurrently with Relay for Life at Santa Anita Park Saturday.

Zumba instructors and students will be busting moves to help raise money for the fight against cancer in conjunction with Relay for Life at Santa Anita Park on Saturday.

Set up to mirror Relay for Life, the Zumbathon event challenges participants to form teams that make sure a team member is dancing, according to a news release from the Arcadia recreation departement. The intensity levels of the dance routines will vary throughout the day.

"Choreographies will be led in a follow-along format to accommodate all levels  of fitness," the release states. "Dance experience is not necessary—just a desire to have fun and get fit."

The Zumbathon begins at 12:30 p.m. and lasts until 8:30 p.m. on the infield at the race track.
